Vim OS JavaScript SDK ​

Welcome to the Vim OS JavaScript SDK documentation!

The Vim OS SDK is compatible with TypeScript and JavaScript, offering flexibility in your development environment. Healthcare EHR integration is made seamless with our SDK.

We reference Vim OS JavaScript SDK as "VimOS.js" in our documentation. Using VimOS.js in your application code allows you to easily integrate to the Vim middleware ecosystem and EHRs. If you want to enhance EHR workflows by bringing your applications to the point of care in the EHR while leveraging an engaging user experience, VimOS.js offers the tools and resources you need to seamlessly achieve your goal.

Prerequisites​ ​

Make sure you have the following prerequisites checked:

  1. Register for a Vim Canvas™️ developer account: Sign up for a Vim Canvas™️ developer account to integrate VimOS.js into your code stack.

If you don’t have a Vim Canvas™️ developer account yet, please register here to request access.

  1. Create your first application: Set up your application details and permissions.

  2. Get your developer keys: Obtain your developer client ID and secret keys to initialize the SDK and complete the authentication process.

  3. Access the Sandbox EHR: Simulate how your application will works in Vim on EHRs.
